Beautiful ceramic bowls made by Peter Shearer. Peter has been working with stoneware clay for over 30 years. These bowls and platters are representative of the range he makes.

His forms and glazes are strongly influenced by New Zealand’s unique environment and typical of his work is the contrast achieved by using glazed surfaces adjacent to textured non-glazed surfaces.

Each piece is individually handmade on a potter’s wheel and fired in a gas kiln to 1300c.
