Polished Paua Shell

Haliotis Iris (New Zealand paua shell) is found only in New Zealand coastal waters. Paua is a mollusc renowned as a local seafood delicacy. The shell is prized for its lustrous colour. Maori traditionally use the shell within wood carvings.
