Sheepskin & Wool Bedding

Natural – science cannot match the unique natural properties of genuine sheepskin.
Breathable – suede skin and pure wool fibre's breathes with your body allowing comfortable wear in any climate
Temperature regulation - wool being a superior insulator keeps your body warm in winter and also cool in summer!
Moisture control - wool can absorb up to 30% of it’s own weight of water vapor and transport this through it’s structure without feeling cold or clammy. This creates a natural dry zone around the body.
Fire Resistant - sheepskin is renowned for it’s fire safety. Suede and wool are difficult to ignite, do not spread flames easily and have self-extinguishing properties.
Durable – Sheepskin consisting of suede and wool are materials both synonymous with durability. Wool fibre's can withstand being bent 20,000 times without breaking.
Cushioning effect – The high density (number of wool fibre's per sq inch) of soft, springy wool fibre's creates a cushion. This eliminates ‘pressure points’ when wearing genuine sheepskin.

Wool is one of the oldest and most functional textile fabrics that has provided us with warmth, comfort and flexibility.
Twelve thousand years ago the Nomadic tribesmen of snow-swept Siberia knew the unique properties of sheepskin. Since the1850's scientific studies have helped us to understand wool's natural qualities.
Wool consists of millions of tiny fibres which trap air, resulting in a natural insulation. Dry wool fibres also absorb moisture giving off heat in return.
Wool has the ability to absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture. One gram of dry wool releases 27 calories of heat when saturated with water. When dry water is attracted to sites within its multi-layered and internal structure, keeping you dry and releasing heat.
Soft, warm and dry, sheepskin has consistently stood the test of time, naturally.
